Today in lesson the technicians went over a basic photoshop tutorial with us which allowed me to obtain various different skills that i will need when creating my original digipak. I have learnt how to properly fit an image into the background template by using shift while simultaneously dragging the image from the corners. I also learnt how to crop an image by using a quite new feature which makes it much more easier then using the magic wand, this is because it allows you to select exactly what you need and when you are getting rid of the extra bits you do not need it will not erase the chosen image. It is also much more quicker then using the magic wand as you do not have to be as precise when cropping.I have also learnt how to add text onto an image and change the color,font and overall look of the text to fit into my specific genre or product. Lastly with the chosen image you are able to change its look and color to fit in with the background which is navigated on the right hand side.
